A Morning Stroll

for a five mile stroll around Regents Park and Primrose Hill

Meet at 11.00am on Thursday 17 July at Great Portland Street Underground Station.

From the station we will cross into Regent's Park and visit Queen Mary's Gardens
 before making our way north past the London Zoo to the Regents Canal.
 

 Then it is across the road and up to the top of Primrose Hill.
On a good day there are wide views from this famous viewpoint.

We will then walk along a short stretch of the canal and pass the London Central Mosque
 before returning to Great Portland Street station.

If you wish, bring a picnic lunch, as we will stop at a suitable spot. There are cafes in the area.

NB: Walk will be reasonably flat, mainly along hard surfaced paths,
but the surface cannot be guaranteed.

There is a short climb up and down Primrose Hill.

Suitable footwear is essential.

The walk is expected to last about 2 ¹/₂ hours.
