near the exit for the bus station.

From the station we will cross to the Channelsea Path to look at the Greenway, set to be a major walking link to the Olympic Games Site. From here we will walk to Three Mills Green and on to Three Mills, where you can view the exterior of some of the oldest tidal mills in the country.

After following the River Lea we will turn back onto the Greenway to reach the View Tube a modular construction designed to allow close views into the Olympic Park.

Here we will have light refreshments** courtesy of the Duchess of Kent Lodge, before returning to Stratford station.

NB: Walk will be reasonably flat, mainly along hard surfaced paths.

The walk will form part of the Unity 2010 Friendship Walk, which is designed to cover an overall 2010 miles this year. Those who register in advance will receive a certificate and be able to partake of refreshments provided at the View Tube.
